Her tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed; she has been honored on numerous occasions for her contributions, particularly through Lions Club International, USA, where she has received multiple awards for her relentless work in bringing cataract surgeries to various districts around Delhi, medical aid to lepers, blood collection through camps, and many other fields.

Metali's career as an educator spans over two decades, during which she distinguished herself as an English language teacher in a prestigious school in Gurugram. Her leadership skills were further recognized when she took on the role of Principal at an army-based school, where she left an indelible mark on the institution and its students.
Recently, Metali expanded her creative horizons by publishing a poetic collection titled "Bouquet of Poems," a work that showcases her literary talents. She has also co-authored a couple of books with her husband, adding to her impressive body of work. Recently she has compiled and published a book on the UN program for Sustainable Development of the planet and their targets.

Her illustrious career culminated in her role as Principal at a prestigious army-based school in Gurugram.

She served as the chairperson of the Lioness Club in Gurugram and spearheaded the internationally renowned Quest program in North India. Her philanthropic endeavors extended to uplifting lepers and establishing Chetna, a school for the underprivileged and affiliated with Lions Public School in Gurugram.
Not content with her local impact, Metali collaborated with medical professionals from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi to facilitate cataract surgeries for countless villagers. This initiative fell under the esteemed SightFirst project organized by the Gurugram chapter of Lions Club, garnering international recognition.
Retiring from her formal career, Metali now channels her passion into writing, crafting poetry and prose centered on themes of youth and global harmony. Recently, Metali expanded her creative horizons by publishing a poetic collection titled Bouquet of Poems, a work that showcases her literary talents. She has also co-authored two books with her husband, Vignettes & Verses, and Moments & Melodies, demonstrating their collective wisdom and creativity.
